Help us raise $5,000 to support teens in recovery!
On Monday, June 2nd we are joining nonprofits around the world to celebrate World Eating Disorders Action Day™️. World Eating Disorders Action Day is a groundbreaking global movement that unites activists around the world, dispels eating disorder myths, and inspires change. This year’s theme, Break the Bias, Support Families, honors the importance of early intervention, and showcases how critical it is for families, caregivers, and healthcare workers to intervene as early as possible for the best possible chance of one’s full recovery.
This World Eating Disorders Action Day, we are asking you to support Rock Recovery’s teen therapy programming so that we can break the cycle of disordered eating, and get teens and young adults into treatment as early as possible.
Here is what we know:
From 2018 to 2022, eating disorder-related health visits for youth in the United States jumped more than 107% (Pastore, et. al., 2023).
A staggering 40-60% of elementary-aged girls are concerned about their weight (Goff, 2016).
An alarming 22% of children and adolescents worldwide exhibit disordered eating (López-Gil, et. al., 2023).
Since 2023, Rock has been caring for teens and their families through our individual and group therapy services. Summer is on the horizon, and the noise surrounding diet culture is louder than ever (especially for teens).
Will you help us raise $5,000 this World Eating Disorders Action Day so that 10 more teens and families can access our programs and receive life-changing care this summer? Together, we can break the bias, and help to ensure more teens and families can access treatment early, safely, and barrier-free.
Thank you for your support, and thank you for honoring this crucial day of advocacy and awareness by supporting Rock Recovery. We couldn’t do this life-saving work without you!

Client Testimonial:
“My daughter is well today, she is in college as a full-time art student living on her own. Rock Recovery is therapy taken to the next level; it’s what is at the center of this organization that makes healing different, deeper, and real.”
