Join the movement - #IGETIT

Rock Recovery is proud to be a launch partner in #IGETIT, a national Mental Health Awareness Month campaign by SixDegrees.org that’s bringing people together to normalize mental health conversations and share accessible tools for well-being.

Through #IGETIT, we’re joining a powerful community of nonprofits and advocates to uplift mental health stories, amplify organizations like ours, and flood social media with accessible resources that meet people where they are in their journey.

We know that millions of people are affected by mental health. The National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) shares:

  • 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year

  • 1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year

  • Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among people aged 10-14

We all know someone whose life has been touched by mental illness. There is power in storytelling, and together we can break down the stigma that surrounds mental illness. Together, we can create a culture where everyone feels supported in their mental health journey. #IGETIT—Do you?

Ways to get involved:
