Join Rock Recovery and Giovonni Hinton of She Is Resilience for a Pride-centered journaling and poetry workshop.
A poetry workshop to honor the importance of storytelling, authenticity, and create a safe space where individuals feel seen and supported.
Join Giovonni Hinton and Rock Recovery for an afternoon of reflection, creativity, and connection through this guided, trauma-informed journaling and poetry workshop centered on Pride, identity, healing, and self-expression.
SOIL is designed to create a supportive and affirming space where participants can slow down, explore their thoughts and emotions, and connect more deeply with themselves and community through writing. Throughout the workshop, participants will be offered gentle prompts and may choose to respond through poetry, journaling, or free writing. There is no right or wrong way to participate.
The afternoon will close with optional time for reflection, sharing written pieces, and group discussion. No prior writing experience is necessary — just bring curiosity, openness, and yourself. This event is open to ages 18+.
Whether you identify as LGBTQ+, are exploring your identity, or simply want to engage in a meaningful creative wellness experience, you are welcome here.
