Proud Voices, Brave Journeys: A Celebration of Healing

MEDA and Rock Recovery invite you to a virtual evening of creativity and connection within the eating disorder community this Pride Month!

Eating disorder nonprofits, MEDA and Rock Recovery invite you to a virtual evening of creativity, courage, and connection to close out Pride Month!

Proud Voices, Brave Journeys is a free, virtual interactive showcase honoring the voices of LGBTQIA+ individuals who have been impacted by eating disorders. Through powerful artistic expression — from spoken word and poetry to music, visual art, and more — performers will share their recovery journeys and celebrate the intersection of identity and healing.

Hosted on Zoom, this event is open to all and designed to uplift, inspire, and unite. Whether you’re in recovery, a loved one, an ally, or simply someone who appreciates authentic expression, you are warmly welcomed into this space of community and hope.

**Note: We want to thank the artists participating in this event for being willing to share their personal experiences and vulnerable stories. We ask that all attendees respect those sharing as this space is to be rooted in respect, care, and collective liberation.
