Yoga for Positive Body Image with Yoga District
Does your perception of your body image hold you back from taking risks or living life? Does negative self talk about your body fill up a lot of space in your head? Does your relationship with food or exercise feel off balance? Do you or someone you know fight a battle with disordered eating or an eating disorder? Does this topic interest you? If you resonate with any of these questions, join us for this workshop! Through yoga practice, mindfulness, and body awareness exercises, we’ll begin to explore how yoga can be a part of developing and maintaining a more positive body image.
No experience with yoga is necessary, this workshop is appropriate for all levels. All bodies are welcome!

More about Christi:
Yoga helped transform Christi’s relationship with her body and exercise during her recovery journey. She became a yoga teacher and a counseling student because she is passionate about sharing those benefits with others! Christi is a trauma-sensitive RYT-200 certified teacher who has done additional trainings in Healing Trauma through Yoga, Yoga for Autism, and Yin Yoga. She is also a counseling intern with Rock Recovery, a non-profit that provides affordable care for clients with eating disorders.
