The Eating Disorder Network of Maryland (EDN MD) has joined the Rock Recovery family!
One of Rock Recovery’s defining values has always been, “collaborate, don’t compete.” This work isn’t about us, it’s about our incredible clients – past, present and future.
We’ve prayerfully discerned what’s next for Rock Recovery, and have some exciting news!
Our Board of Directors has decided to merge our efforts the Eating Disorder Network of Maryland (EDN MD) to provide services to the DC, Maryland, Virginia area and beyond under the name of Rock Recovery.
Will you serve more clients?
We will continue to operate our Bridge to Life program for up to 10 clients each week in Arlington, VA. Pending funding, we are also planning to create a second similar program this winter in Washington, DC and a third program in MD by the end of 2018. We will also be revamping our DMV Services Guide to a general guide for those seeking care in the entire DMV area, or those looking for higher levels of care nationwide.
When will the transition start?
We already started the transition with our extremely successful first-ever Hungry for What? Workshop in MD at The Well Community Church in March. We also are in the works of creating a parent support group in the Columbia neighborhood. Stay tuned for more!
Where will you be located?
Our headquarters will remain in Washington, DC, and we will begin regional expansion once we secure the necessary funds. Nationwide expansion is still our long-term goal!
How can I help?
We are so glad you asked! We would love your prayers and financial support as we embark on this new journey to ensure our success.
